Logo Master Scuba DiverWOSD Master Scuba Diver is the highest non-professional level of WOSD certification that a diver can achieve.

The WOSD Master Scuba Diver certification is granted to divers to show that they have received extensive training in the most important specialities and gained experience in a range of dive environments. These specialties are also pre-requisites for the WOSD Dive Leader course, the first professional level.

WOSD Master Scuba Diver is not a course in itself, but is a process in which a high level of knowledge and experience are combined.

In order to apply for WOSD Master Scuba Diver certification, the following pre-requisites must be met:
• Certified as a WOSD ‘Autonomous Diver' (Diver Level 2) or equivalent;
• Certified as a WOSD 'Underwater Navigator' or equivalent;
• Certified as a WOSD 'Night Diver' or equivalent;
• Certified as a WOSD 'Multi-Level Deep Diver' or equivalent;
• Certified as a WOSD 'Equipment Specialist' or equivalent;
(At least three of the above must be WOSD certifications)
• At least 40 logged dives (excluding training dives);
• Minimum 16 years of age;
• Competent Swimmer;
• Approved Medical Statement;
• Signed Certificate of Understanding.
