On Sunday 30th March 2008 the brand new WOSD/DAN Neuro course was given for the first time in Europe.

11 WOSD/DAN Instructors gained their "On-Site Neurological Assessment for Divers" instructor certification.

Guy Thomas from DAN EUROPE, assisted by WOSD's Gerard Oijnhausen and Fred Siebers (both DAN Trainers), successfully trained and certified the 11 instructors. During the "On-Site Neurological Assessment for Divers" course, trainees learn how to appraise a diver for the likelihood of a barotrauma by testing for various physiological and neurological symptoms.
