WOSD courses can be followed with WOSD Instructors and at WOSD Centres all over the world. WOSD Centres. WOSD Centres are specialised in all aspects required for running WOSD courses in an effective and responsible manner. There are two levels of WOSD Centres: WOSD Dive Centre:
A WOSD Dive Centre can run WOSD courses from entry-level to WOSD ‘Diver Leader – Level 3’. In addition they have a wide range of diving equipment for hire and/or sale and can fill dive cylinders. |  | WOSD Training Centre:
In addition to the WOSD entry-level courses, WOSD Training Centres can also run the WOSD Instructor level courses. They can also service and repair diving equipment and of course, they have a wide range of diving equipment for hire and/or sale and can fill dive cylinders. |  |
WOSD instructors. WOSD Instructors are specialised in teaching the theory and skills required for WOSD courses in a safe and responsible manner. There are six WOSD Instructor levels: Dive Leader:
In addition to assisting WOSD Dive Instructors, a WOSD Dive Leader can independently run snorkel courses, certify Snorkel Divers and provide escorted dives for ‘Level 1’ divers and higher. |  | Instructor Level 1:
A Level 1 WOSD Instructor can run the theory and swimming pool or confined water sections of the Level 1 Diver course. In addition, following successful completion of addition courses they can run the so call “dry” specialty courses, including first aid, CPR, ‘Oxygen Provider’ and ‘Equipment Specialist’ courses. |  | Instructor Level 2:
A Level 2 WOSD Instructor can run all WOSD courses up to ‘Level 3 - Dive Leader ’. In addition, they can also run any specialty courses for which they are certified. |  | Staff Instructor:
A WOSD Staff Instructor can run all WOSD courses up to ‘Level 3 - Dive Leader’ and any specialty courses for which they are certified. In addition, they can assist an Instructor Trainer during Instructor courses and, under supervision of a WOSD Instructor Trainer they can train Level 1 Instructors. |  | Instructor Trainer:
A WOSD Instructor Trainer can run WOSD Instructor courses as well as WOSD Instructor cross-over courses for Instructors from other organisations. In addition, they can also run any Specialty Instructor courses for which they are certified. |  | Instructor Examiner:
Instructor Examiner is the highest WOSD level. A WOSD Instructor Examiner can run WOSD instructor courses and certify WOSD instructors. They can also independently cross over Instructors from other organisations, to WOSD. In addition, they can run any Specialty Instructor courses for which they are certified. |  |
