WHO CAN FOLLOW A WOSD COURSE?
Anybody in reasonable health can follow a WOSD course. Of course, there are varying pre-requisites for each separate course.

WHY SHOULD I FOLLOW A WOSD COURSE?
Because your (free-)time is valuable to you. Following a WOSD course does not require spending hours in a classroom. You study the required theory in your own time and at your own pace, so that you can determine yourself when you start the practical sessions, after all, is that not the reason for starting the course?

WHAT IS THE DURATION OF A WOSD COURSE?
All WOSD courses are focused on the development of the trainee. There is no minimum or maximum course duration. Every theoretical and practical learning objective is clearly defined. This all means that the duration of the course is wholly dependant upon the time that is needed for each individual to master the required theoretical knowledge and the practical skills.

ARE THE WOSD COURSES OFFICIALLY RECOGNISED?
WOSD complies to the latest European and International standards. As a result, WOSD courses are recognized throughout the world.

HOW MUCH DOES A WOSD COURSE COST?
Compared to other recreational sport courses, WOSD courses are relatively inexpensive. The cost of a beginner's course is comparable to a weekend golf course or a 2-day sailing course.

WHAT DO I NEED IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE IN A WOSD COURSE?
Not much. Everything you need for the theory modules is provided at the start of the course. The equipment that you need for the practical sessions is usually also included in the course price. So just swim wear and a towel is all you need.
